Friday's field trip took us to the studio of Odili Odita in the Crane Arts building and to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for an introduction to their great collection of work!
Our first SPI trip was to the Crane Arts Building and the studio of Odili Odita. Odili is an Associate Professor of Painting at Tyler School of Art and his work has been widely shown in the US and abroad over the past decade. He represented America at the 2007 Venice Biennial and has since done large scale wall works at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, The ICA in Philadelphia and Princeton University. He is currently working on a piece at the United Nations in New York City.
Opening Saturday, June 12 from 6 to 10pm, Little Berlin’s members will be sharing their recent work in the exhibition, Forecast. Come look at some art, have a beer and welcome the collective’s three new members.
